Q. Are all the people on the ship sober?

   A. No, while it is the goal of SoberCruises.com to fill an entire cruise ship with sober people, we are a small group aboard the ship with many other people.

Q. What is included in the price of the cruise?

   A. All the meals, coffee, tea, room service, and onboard entertainment is included. Travel to and from the port, shore excursions, gambling, tipping, and soda are not included.

Q. Do I need a passport?

   A. We recommend that everyone has a passport, however according to the U.S. State Dept. when leaving from and returning to the same U.S. Port all that is required is a certified copy of a birth certificate and a state issued photo ID.

Q. Are there laundry services available on the ship?

   A. Yes, laundry services are available, and on many of the ships self-service laundry (laundromat) are also available.

Q. Will there be meetings onboard the ship?

   A. Yes, we try to schedule two AA & Al-Anon meetings per day, a morning discussion meeting, and an evening speaker meeting, and from time to time also schedule workshops on Days At Sea.

Q. Can I receive phone calls onboard?

   A. Friends and family may call guests onboard via Maritime Telecommunications Network (MTN) Shore-to-Ship telephone service. The rate is $9.50 per minute from the United States; additional long distance charges may apply from outside the United States.  

Q. Can I access the Internet while on board?

   A. For those guests who want the option of staying connected to the rest of the world, we proudly offer access to the Internet with our onboard Internet Café and wireless networks using the ships own satellite connection. The Internet Café is open 24-hours a day and features private terminals with the latest flat panel computer monitors. (Extra charges apply)

Q. How should I pack?

   A. Be sure to bring comfortable clothes, if you choose to dine in the dining room for the evening meal, keep in mind that the dress code is “Cruise Casual” and on the 7 & 8 day cruises there are usually 2 “Cruise Elegant” evenings Gentlemen - Dress slacks, dress shirts. We also suggest a sport coat. If you wish to wear suits and ties or tuxedos, by all means we invite you to do so.  Ladies - Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses.

Q. May we book ourselves through the cruise line?

     A. To be a part of our group you MUST  book through FLC Travel Group LLC .
